Coulson’s Creek Road is a quiet rural road with minimal traffic and a relatively good road surface.
All riders will roll out of Merriwa at 8am and will need to be back in Merriwa by 1pm.
There will be two courses; a long and short option.
Long course is from Merriwa to the Gap (start of Merriwa Road) and return, a distance of 84kms and 600m of vertical climbing.
The short course will also start and finish in Merriwa, with a turnaround point at the aid station approximately 21kms from Merriwa. This ride has 430m of vertical climbing.
There will be two support vehicles to assist in any minor incidences (punctures etc.)
There will be both food and drink refreshments at the turning points with toilet facilities at the far turnaround point.
