All National Parks Wildlife Services campgrounds are closed to protect public health and safety.
Unfortunately, National Parks have closed the Washpools Picnic Area as well as the camping area because people were choosing to camp there while the Camping Area was closed. Hopefully people will follow these restrictions correctly while in the other parks to allow walking tracks to remain open during this time.
Bush camping in other areas of our parks is not permitted either.
Walking tracks and low-traffic open spaces will remain open where possible to accommodate visitors exercising. Visitors must use proper social distancing (at least 1.5m from other visitors).

Camping, including caravans and motor-homes, and social gatherings will not be permitted in these areas from Friday 27 March 2020, until further notice:
Barrington Tops National Park
- Black Swamp Camping Area
- Devils Hole Camping Area
- Gloucester River Camping Area
- Gummi Camping Area
- Horse Swamp Camping Area
- Little Murray Camping Area
- Junction Pools Camping Area
- Polblue Swamp Camping Area
- Wombat Creek Camping Area
Towarri National Park
- Washpools Camping Area
Woko National Park
- Woko Camping Area
Some day use areas (picnic areas) have also been closed where it’s impossible to separate camping and picnic areas. In Barrington Tops Area these are:
- Gloucester River Day Use Area
- Woko Day Use Area
