A colourful community mural in Murrurundi tracing the town's history, geology and cultural heritage.
At Professional Row Park on the New England Highway, the Murrurundi Mosaic Mural uses colourful tiles and handmade ceramic pieces to tell the story of the town. Created by the Murrurundi Arts and Crafts Council, the artwork reflects local geology, early settlement, infrastructure and the development of the community. It also acknowledges the Wonnarua and Gamilaroi peoples and their enduring connection to Country, making the mural both an artistic and historical feature of the town.
