The Cottage restaurant is located in a beautifully restored building set back on the main street of Scone.
A relaxed yet sophisticated dining experience where you can enjoy the seasonal menu and daily specials and good old fashioned country hospitality. Enjoy dining during the warmer months in the stunning shaded courtyard or on the back terrace while during the cooler months a table inside by one of the open fires is the place to be.
Where possible The Cottage sources from local producers and supports other businesses in the region and is currently working with local livestock farmers to deliver the quantity and quality the restaurant demands.
The modern Australian menu reflects classic french techniques with influences of Asian and Mediterranean flavours. However, the restaurants signature is the grass fed beef that is hung for a minimum of 6 weeks before being served in the restaurant and can be viewed through the window of the purpose-built, humidity-controlled dry-ageing room.
The Cottage offers lunch Thursday to Saturday and dinner Tuesday to Saturday. The restaurant is fully licensed and with a versatile layout it also offer options for events from intimate dinners to larger occasions such as birthdays and weddings, catering up to 150 guests cocktail style.
